History

Islandboarders has been trading as a division of Flag Beach Windsurf Centre. Flag Beach started many years ago, back in 1988 when Corralejo was still a small and unknown fishing village and as time evolved it incorporated surfing, body boarding and kite surfing into its curriculum. Courses were run only 3 times per week and were usually during the afternoons. After all this time we have now decided to offer proper surf courses rather than doing it on a daily basis. A new name was formed and now we offer not only the courses but also the complete holiday package with qualified and experienced instructors travelling the coast in search of the best conditions on the day.

Stand Up Paddle!

Stand up paddle is the latest sport to arrive on the scene in the surfing genre, we at Island boarders where the first surf school on Fuerteventura to get in to this new sport.
