Booking from the UK
Deposit for your holiday should be paid to our account in the UK directly (details from Rachel/ Ben) or by credit card.

(Please note that there is a handling charge for credit card transactions at the beach.)

Accommodation and car hire.
Island Boarders have taken all reasonable steps to ensure that all component parts of holidays booked by clients are supplied as relevant to our price lists/ information and that all suppliers of these are of an acceptable standard.
Island Boarders have no direct control over such organizations/ persons not directly employed by Island Boarders and shall not be liable for any acts or ommisions by them or their employees.

Cancellation:
1-14 days 100% of booking charge.
15-21 days 50% of booking charge.

Bookings made within this time frame once confirmed by Island Boarders will be subject to the same charges.

Complaints
In the event that a client wishes to complain about any aspects of their holiday the client should take this up with a responsible member of staff from Island Boarders in resort. If the matter cannot be resolved satisfactorily then the clients should complain in writing whilst on holiday to Island Boarders. Island Boarders will not be liable for any refunds after the client has returned home if this system is not followed up.
With regards to construction work, this is a difficult and sensitive issue. Fuerteventura is currently an expanding tourist sector and therefore construction work is inevitable in most areas. Information on construction close to accommodation can be provided on booking by request; however it must be understood that between the clients' booking and arriving in resort things can change...Building work may have begun in this time. Island Boarders will endevour to find a solution for clients subjected to nearby building work however it will not be liable in the event no solution is possible. All apartments, hotels, complexes and indeed Island Boarders hold no control to events outside their juristriction. Much accommodation is paid on your behalf by Island Boarders prior to arrival of clients and is not necessarily refundable by hotel organizations due to the problem being beyond it's perimeters.

Arrangements for holidays are made months in advance, however some changes may become necessary and Island Boarders reserves the right to make changes at any time. If Island Boarders is unable to provide the accommodation booked it will reserve the right to substitute alternative accommodation of a silmilar or higher standard. As much of accommodation is not officially classified, similar standard accommodation will be deemed to be that of the same price, have the same facilities and be located in the same resort. Provided we receive notification of changes we will advise you as soon as possible. Under such circumstances should the client cancel their holiday this would be subject to the normal cancellation charges. Should the changes be that they differ to a great extent to the original holiday booked i.e. change of resort, lower standard accommodation etc... Island Boarders will endevour to offer an alternative arrangement or refund of cost difference or cancel the holiday and provide a full refund of monies. In certaincircumstances cancellation may be necessary and Island Boarders reserve the right to in our absolute discretion cancel any holiday and in this instance the clients will be refunded the total amount or offered an alternative holiday. Island Boarders will not be responsible for Force Majeure circumstances.
